Winter thou goest – Part I

Clearly my thoughts have evolved on this blog as to what I can do for you, what I can share to make your life more beautiful after you visit here, and am pleased to have settled on creating a trave…

  1. This is one you take us all around the world, show some awesome hotels.
Oh! What kind of foods people prepare and eat too.
This post gives ample pleasure to the eyes and belly full of food.
When you plan to release the Part 2.
    Happy New Year Beth!

  2. I realized after reading the post that I read it the first time last year, but it was great to revisit this post. The only thing I know about Oakland is that it’s the hometown of M.C. Hammer. He was always rep’ing Oakland, he was proud of his hometown.
Your post made me jealous. I was eating gluten free mac n’cheese (yuck!) while reading about all the good ethnic food options.
I love eating Ethiopian foods as well as Middle Eastern/Lebanese foods.
    Happy Holidays!

    • Thank you so much, JM. I want to have four sticky posts, one for each season and I do plan to update or change them every couple of years. These two winter posts were up late last winter so I thought it was a good idea to re-post them. I live for ethnic food and have to go all over LA to find it, since where I live is mostly steak/potato places or chains. 😀

  3. Happy 2017, the year of the rooster spurred me on to write a trio of posts.
I could easily have talked about how upset I was! Then I realized that there are still wonderful people in this world despite the huge, crushing loss in our election here. Moving forward is important for us all. Hillary even promoted this in her concession speech.
Anyway, I arrived after Christmas, as the glitter is still stuck to my carpet and socks. Ha ha!
Hope you had the merriest holiday season and in the new year will have special moments in nature and in art, beauty and light. Here’s to Beth, Geoffrey and the family: Best wishes for a fantastic year to surprise us! 🙂 ❤

    • Politically and economically, I am afraid we are all in for a rough time for four years.

As for the rest of my life, it is going well, thank heaven so I have hopes for a bright 2017.

Thank you Charlotte. You are a spot of joy in my world.

Much love and luck to you this year! Hope you will be in Los Angeles some time, too.
